Bridge The Gap Training and Assessment, have established a RTW Coordinator's Support/Interest group on the Central Coast/Hunter region specifically targeting the Health and Community Services sector; in particular, targeting organisations whose staff support people with disabilities, the frail aged, mental health and young persons.
The aim of the Return to Work Coordinators' Support Interest Group is to provide practical guidance and assistance to Return to Work Coordinators and managers/supervisors in managing staff who have sustained an occupational injury and non-compensable /non-work related injury.
The group's outcomes will enhance RTW Coordinators' existing skills and expertise to achieve better return to work outcomes for all injured staff.
The support group focuses on the importance of RTW Coordinators and managers in adopting a proactive approach in promoting their role within their organisation.
Criteria for Membership
- Working within health and community service sector;
- You must be a Return To Work Coordinator OR;
- A CEO, Manager or Supervisor;
- Can meet with the group quarterly for 2 hours and
- Register on line.
