Working Safely in Private Dwelling and External Locations is a full day program, which has been designed to introduce or refresh staff’s knowledge in the elements of WHS Risk Management and contribute to the implementation of WHS strategies and initiatives, in order to ensure compliance with WHS legislation.

This interactive workshop has been developed to discuss and understand the delicate balance between a number of the Health and Community Services Sector acts (including; Age Care Act or Mental Health Act or Disability Services Act etc) and the obligations of the WHS Act. This workshop will allow participants to explore what is reasonable practice and weigh up risks in providing a service directly or indirectly in non-vocational and community settings. During the workshop a range of resource tools will be customised to suit your organisation, which incorporates early intervention, strengthening your safety culture, embracing WHS is a shared responsibility, which ensures compliance with WHS legislation to assist you with you injury prevention strategies.
