This module has been developed in assisting you in developing further skills and knowledge in remaining risk awareness and keeping yourself safe.
This module will also cover best practice and provides tips and advice on how to be risk mindful and a risk thinker whenever you are supporting a client and when accessing the community.

Learning Outcomes
At the completion of this module you will:
- Recognise that Work Health & Safety is a shared responsibility and describe the Work Health & Safety roles and responsibilities of all staff in accordance with Work Health & Safety Act 2011;
- Describe the procedures for reporting workplace hazards, incidents and injuries;
- Accurately complete documentation to report hazards and incidents;
- Explain how consultation works in addressing WHS issues and concerns; and
- Develop an understanding of the importance of early notification of all workplace incidents and the importance of embracing a pro-active approach.
