These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the membership pages of BTG e-Learning Centre (“The Website”), which is owned and operated by Bridge the Gap Training and Assessment (“BTG”), is a registered business name of Robert Alan Watson.
The restricted pages of The Website that require login details are known as the “Membership Pages” Use of the Membership Pages of The Website is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By becoming a member of The Websites in any way, the purchasing person, organisation and any employee of that organisation are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. No alteration of these conditions shall be effective unless expressly agreed to in writing by The Company.
For the duration of paid membership of The Website, the member (individual or organisation) is entitled to the following inclusions:
- Access to the Courses page and associated courses
- Gold members will have unlimited access to the Resources page and any associated content.
The term “Members” includes anyone who has authorised current membership, including membership purchased by individuals, and employees of membership purchased by an organisation.
Membership purchase price has been based upon an organisation-wide use of The Website.
Membership purchase entitles the purchaser to distribute login details (username and password) to any person, employee of the purchasing organisation. This does not include ex-employees or affiliate organisation employees. Purchasers who are not purchasing on behalf of an organisation are not permitted to distribute login details to anyone. For individuals, a single (2 week) purchase is recommended.
Membership cost is stipulated clearly on the Buy Membership page of The Website, and will change from time to time. If you have a promotional code, you may use this to receive a membership discount. The discounted amount may change without notice.
Membership purchase is via STRIPE secure credit card payment or by other arrangement with Bridge the Gap Training and Assessment, such as cheque or direct debit. To enquire about other arrangements, please contact BTG directly.
Please read any Terms and Conditions associated with STRIPE before proceeding with STRIPE purchase.
Purchase via STRIPE credit card will generate an automated registration and login details to The Website which will be sent to the purchaser’s nominated email account. For other payment arrangements, BTG will be required to manually send login access. Please allow 1-2 days for this process.
Your single login details authorises you and any member of your organisation to login and access the Membership Pages of The Website for the duration of your membership purchase. When you login to your account you will have the opportunity to create a password of your choosing. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to manage use of the username and password within the organisation.
Access to the restricted areas of The Website is allowed on the assumption that you and any other personor employee of your organisation will adhere to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to remove user profiles at any time if BTG assesses they are being used to post malicious items on The Websites, are abusing members of the Website, or if The Website is being accessed by unauthorised users.
Use of material on the site
Any material or information that is downloaded from the Resources pages must not be distributed outside of the member organisation in any form without the expressed permission of BTG.
The online Courses (listed on the Courses page) are not permitted to be downloaded and/or distributed in any form or by any means.
BTG cannot guarantee that access to the course materials will be uninterrupted.
BTG e-Learning Centre will use commercially reasonable efforts to make the e-Learning content available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except for:
- planned downtime, of which BTG shall give members at least 8 hours’ notice; or
- any unavailability caused by circumstances beyond BTG’s reasonable control, including without limitation, acts of God, acts of government, flood, fire, earthquakes, civil unrest, acts of terror, strikes or other labour problems (other than those involving BTG employees), or Internet service provider failures or delays.
Due to the nature of the intellectual property within the course content BTG does not offer refunds once you have been enrolled on a course.
A full refund is available within 30 days providing you have not logged into the Website.
All materials and information on The Website is the intellectual property of BTG. Although care has been taken to ensure content is correct and comments are not misleading, BTG cannot guarantee accuracy. BTG cannot guarantee the accuracy of comments or content expressed by members of The Website. BTG does not accept any responsibility for the information disclosed on The Website by members.
Links to other websites
The Website contains links to other third party websites. BTG does not accept responsibility for the information and privacy practices of third party websites.
Data Protection / Privacy
Contact information provided during the purchase of the course and/or registering as a student will be held within BTG’s customer relationship management (CRM) system in a safe, confidential and secure environment.
Contact information may be used to supply further information about BTG and our services. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings by clicking the opt-out button on the mailer.
BTG does not hold any sensitive personal information or financial details within its system. BTG will not sell or rent your contact information to any third parties.
Limitation of Liability
BTG will not be liable for any incorrect or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the BTG e-Learning Centre website or any of the course materials.
Updates to these Terms and Conditions
As The Website evolves, we reserve the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions without further notice. We encourage you to review The Website and these Terms and Conditions for any updates or changes. Your use of this web site following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the terms as changed. Each version of the Terms and Conditions will be identified at the top of the page by its effective date. BTG will also keep prior versions of the Terms and Conditions in an archive which can be viewed upon request via email.
